On Monday, May 19, 2014, the Lee High Generals competed at Burton's home field. The Raiders ended the game with a 12-0 win over the Generals. This is the second time the Raiders have played the Generals, with the score being somewhat similar to the first time, with Burton winning by at least ten runs.
Throughout the course of the game the Generals just could not keep up. The Raiders were doing everything that they needed to do: they were hitting the ball, fielding the ball, and making plays. The Generals, however, did not perform the way they needed in order to win. They were struggling to hit the ball and only had a scarce number of hits throughout the game. The Generals were also not fielding the ball or making plays; they let Burton's runners get on base and score. These factors combined with the five errors the Generals made throughout the game certainly contributed to their loss. All in all, the Raider just stayed focused and did what was needed to win. Congratulations Raiders!
