One of the purposes of this fundraiser is to allow Scholastic Bowl to pay their bills. The Scholastic Bowl is a non revenue activity meaning they do not charge for admission as other events do. They take the money they raise and put it back into the school system. When they need a bus to travel, they take the money they have raised and pay for their gas. They also pay for officials, and they need to buy new shirts for their team. Last year, they used left over fundraising money to purchase a new score board. The Lady Raiders Basketball team is still working toward purchasing new Nike shoes, so any funds they receive will be put toward this purpose.
