A multiplicity of ancient civilization projects

Recently Mrs. Bias's world history class put together a project relating to the ancient civilizations that they are currently studying: Mesopotamia, Egypt, India, and China. The project hits on many major topics that are discussed throughout the class such as: maps, timelines, people, advancements, religion, and social structure. Each group of students was assigned a civilization; they had to create a poster board to represent the main aspects of their civilization.  In addition to the poster board, the students also had the task of making an object to represent the civilization they were assigned. Included below are a few projects created by the students.  Some of the many objects fashioned by students included: the India Buddha, the Chinese Buddha, Ziggurats, The Great Wall of China, and an elephant, name Jerry.  Students were also encouraged to dress up in traditional clothing representative of their civilization.  Pictured below is a group of world history students wearing traditional Chinese garments.
