Local scenery

Little Stoney Falls is located in between Coeburn and Dungannon. It is a beautiful place for families and friends to visit at any time of the year.  You will walk down a beautiful 3 mile trail which seems like a shorter distance when you are surrounded by beautiful scenery. A river that follows the trail and leads to a 24 ft tall waterfall which is the most visited. On down the path you will encounter a smaller 8 ft tall waterfall.

The falls are a fun and beautiful place for family and friends to visit  and enjoy at all times of the year. In the winter you will see a beautiful display of icicles hanging from the rocks, the trees, and the waterfall itself.  In the spring you can fish and enjoy the beauty of the blooming flowers and trees.  Even though the water is always a bit chilly, on a hot summers day swimming in the falls is a thrilling experience that you'll never forget. After a nice swim, you can enjoy a picnic on the rocks that surround the waterfall.  In the fall you can walk down the trail under a canopy of changing leaves, the colors of the leaves make everything around you seem magical.
