Book review: "The Shiver Trilogy"

Last week I read 2 of the 3 books in "The Shiver Trilogy."  I really enjoyed these books! There is action, romance, and suspense.  These books are fast moving and could easily be read within a week. I have started the third book in the trilogy, and once I finish I will add my thoughts about it to this article.

The first book is called "Shiver." The storyline centers around a girl named Grace who was attacked by wolves when she was young, and was saved by a wolf with the most unforgettable eyes.  Every winter after the attack, the same wolf sits at the edge of the woods and watches her; she never feels threatened by him.   People in Grace's small town are terrified of the wolves because of a disappearance and probable death of a local boy and a local lawyer's son.

One day Grace hears a noise on her back porch. When she walks outside to see what the noise is, she sees a naked man that has been shot.  When she looks at the man, she sees the eyes of the wolf. She takes him to the hospital and before the doctors can take care of the wound, it is already healed.  She automatically knows who this man is and falls in love with him instantly.  His name is Sam, and he is a werewolf.

As their love progresses, so does the drama. A she-wolf becomes jealous of Sam and Grace's relationship, and causes serious problems for Grace's safety.  Also the lawyer whose son was "killed" by the wolves is obsessed with killing all the wolves.  This causes panic for everyone who knows the truth about the wolves.

In the second book "Linger," all of the drama continues.  With new werewolves in town and with the government hunting the wolves, everyone's stress levels are higher than ever.  With an unexpected twist, everything changes. Can they find a cure for the werewolves before it is to late?

In the last book "Forever" will all of their problems be fixed? Can they save the wolves?
